The organization, by preparing a long-term plan for establishing it own distinct identity in the national and international network of cooperatives, has been carrying out programs for sustainable development.
The Government of Nepal has taken up privatization as a main tool of economic policy. In this context, the cooperatives also have to play a sound competitive role in relation to the private sector. Thus, being necessary to stand on its own foot and bring about diversities in its business and activities, it has been carrying further programs by preparing Five Year Plan of its own.
