It's our pride, Durga Bhawani Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. (Durga Bhawani SACCOS) has just passed its 11th successful years. It is situated at Dhumbarahi, Pipalbot and its catchment area is Ward No. 4 and 5 of Kathmandu Municipality . It's total capital at present is around 30 crore and total members are around 2500. So it stands as a fast growing financial institution in Nepal . This organisation is working to improve the socio-economical status of its members. Its major focus is on member based education, professionalism and business diversification. These are essential to improve the living standard of its members. One of the examples of the business diversification is its polyclinic, which is situated in its own complex with full medical facilities for 12 hours/day.
 
Health is wealth, so healthy people can improve the socio-economic status via the economical institution. Therefore the Durga Bhawani SACCOS established the polyclinic to provide the essential treatment in their own community. The polyclinic is self sustained and is focusing its activities for the members with attractive discount for them. The involved doctors and paramedics are experienced and qualified. The polyclinic is serving their members in different specialty like, cardiology, ENT, eye, gynecology, dental, pediatric and general medical including different investigation like USG, ECG, X-Ray, Lab test etc. The organization is planning and working to improve the polyclinic to community based cooperative hospital. It is also providing the free medical check up for needy people on every Saturday from 8 am to 12:30 pm.

The organization has future planning of business diversification on education, housing, hydroelectricity, transportation, departmental stores and communication etc.
 
Sense of co-operation is the major goal of Durga Bhawani SACCOS, so it follows the path to develop the quality of life of the members by co-operation. To achieve these goals, I would like to thank to the members, the board of directors, supervisory and other committee members, our staffs, and all the community people for their invaluable suggestions and cooperation.

Finally, internet facility has been the most essential part in the world of information technology of these days. This web page is our new attempt to introduce ourselves to the rest of the world through this technology.
